      Springer Nature and Digital Science are holding an event on Thursday 19 September, open to all researchers and scholarly authors. Join us to learn more about how you can make the most out of your research and how you can publish your research as an open access book. A mixture of presentations and panel discussions with guest speakers will look at: Why should academics publish an open access book?  Understanding the value and impact of open books Live author Q&A with lead editor of "Ray Tracing Gems" - Eric Haines, Nvidia  MIT Knowledge Futures Group, a new joint venture of the MIT Media Lab and the MIT Press This multidisciplinary event will start with registration at 1.30pm and close at 5pm with networking drinks nearby.
